Safety is Our Priority
We are pleased that you are interested in New Life Preschool. We know that as a parent, your first concern is your child’s happiness, safety and education.
In order to maintain a safe environment and good physical, mental and spiritual health, New Life Preschool seeks to cooperate with parents to limit distractions and interruptions as much as possible. Children often have short attention spans, so we try to completely focus on them and the educational process as well as maintain their structure and routine. We strive to keep the come and go to a minimum after the school day starts. some preschool students can lose their focus if a teacher’s attention is taken away from her duties to help a child who is late to transition into the classroom or to talk with adults.
Children should arrive to school by 8:30 a.m. at the latest and to be picked up at the end of the school day between 3:30 and 6:00 p.m.. If a parent would like to speak with a teacher, it would be important to arrive early, email or call during quiet time from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
To ensure the safety of every child, children are to be brought to the classroom by parents or guardians, not by other siblings, and only authorized persons on the pick up list will be permitted to pick up a child. A written note from a parent or a phone call will be required before a child can be released to anyone not on the list. Any person authorized to pick up a child but who is not known by our staff should be prepared to show picture identification.
It is our desire at New Life Preschool to strengthen your child in educational experiences outside the home, as well as promote total physical and mental growth with instruction, love and understanding. We will provide these experiences, as well as a safe environment, for your child through activities such as art, music, literature, etc. Our goal will be to place within all of the children a love and knowledge of themselves and their Creator.
